Preschool (2's, 3's, and 4's)

This program includes a weekly chapel, music and rhythm, Bible verses and lessons, story time, learning centers, snack, and lunch. The classes also have a supervised recess time when weather permits. Children learn to identify colors, shapes, numbers, and letters of the alphabet while being introduced to activities which stimulate the senses of touch, hearing, smell, taste, and sight. The Handwriting Without Tears, Heggerty Phonemic Awareness and Zoophonics curricula are used in the 4's program and all classes introduce thematic units on preschool topics of interest; such as, learning about ourselves and new friends, fire safety, harvest time, applies, pumpkins, the farm, the sea, Thanksgiving, Jesus' birthday, giving and sharing, snow, winter, colors, insects, plants, animals, transportation, dental health, spring and Easter. Imagination and play are an important part of our program.

TWOS

Twos learn to interact with peers, follow directions, create crafts and artwork which enhance fine motor skills, participate in group activities such as circle and story time, and improve language and social skills such as sharing and waiting your turn. 

THREES

Threes need to be potty trained since the classroom is not equipped with a diaper changing station.  They create crafts and artwork and participate in group activities such as circle time. Threes focus on patterns, sequencing, number concepts, alphabet sounds (phonemic awareness), fine and gross motor skills, social skills and clear communication.

FOURS
4 Days - Monday-Thursday
5 Days - Mondays-Friday

Fours recognize numbers and write letters of the alphabet.  They create crafts and artwork and participate in group activities such as circle time. Fours focus on patterns, sequencing, number concepts, basic writing skills, alphabet sounds (phonemic awareness), fine and gross motor skills, early literacy concepts and clear communication.
