Hello favorite ladies!
Michael and I just left Catherine’s first parent-teacher conference and I know that her success in kindergarten is in large part due to all of your amazing work teaching and loving her last year. She is at or above grade-level expectations for writing, writing out sounds at the beginning and end of words, and math. I am so grateful for her year with you that so clearly prepared her to rock kindergarten-level work! Her teachers also noted social skills like being a role model, a good friend, and said she always makes sure she says “good morning” to her teachers - I know y’all work with your students on these important skills too. Her big sister had a good first conference in kindergarten too, but Catherine is definitely more advanced in her work and skills, and to me it’s clear that the difference is that she had the opportunity to attend Christ Church Day School, and have an incredible year with Ms Melissa and Ms Lisa. You all exceed our expectations at every turn, and we’re continuing to see the effects of your work, love and dedication even after she’s moved on to kindergarten!
