Allergies

Because of our concern regarding cross-contamination, we ask that parents of children with food allergies provide their own snacks and treats for parties. To protect a child with food allergies, Christ Church Day School will post a photo of the child with details regarding the allergy and the appropriate measures which may need to be taken. An approved snack list must be submitted to the school. When a teacher is planning a food craft, a form will be sent home to be approved and signed by the parent prior to the activity. For the safety of the children, we ask that no food containing nut products be brought into the school to be shared by the entire class. Also, do not pack a nut product lunch if your child is in a class with a student who has a peanut allergy. Children with fire ant allergies must wear socks with their shoes.
